M1008 CUCV from GSA auction in SC ready to run!

It took about an hour to install batteries into this truck and it was running! Once Lavarok hooked the driveshaft back up (disconnected in order to tow) and added a little water to the radiator this “display of power” took place. Note the smile on the face of the new proud owner!

I WAS a good find too! The truck name from a GSA auction out of Columbia South Carolina. I have bought things from there myself, namely my lubrication and air service trailer that was once owned by the USMC. Two more M35′s coming sometime next week from Georgia so I will be doing another video at that time.

Thanks pickupman! Always something new in Lavarok’s collection! My M1008A1 is in there somewhere by the way. I parked behind one of the deuces to capture some of the “shade” from the cargo cover.

BIG CASE!!!!! Really enjoyed meeting you and your family yesterday. Looking forward to a drive over to some of those spots in your videos sometime in the near future. First I have to replace the knuckle joint covers on my deuce before trying out some of the mud puddles.
