As soon as your hand rubbed across that primer I cringed that thing needs a lot of work for a show quality paint job. Way more work goes into body prep than people think.

First up id like to make clear that I am not a professional painter or mechanic.
There is really not enough rom in here to post my answer, but ill outline the main points I think Pete and other great blokes like him go wrong in trade business.
1. Dont let your customer dictate what happens with a job. (No free jobs!!!)
2. Stop all negatively in the worklace/workshop.
3. Have a check list before any cars enter the workshop, if they dont pass the test, they get sent away. -

Well, Pete, I ran my own painting business for years, and I can count the jobs I made money on one hand! No regular pay check at the end of each month! You don’t work – you don’t get paid! As soon as you stop moving, you start losing money! Show some respect to one of the best there is!
