The next time we have an election, I will check the voting records of all the candidates on my ballot. Anybody that voted for this waste, does not get my vote. I might even donate a few dollars to his opponent.

Thank you. Basically whatever good this MAY have done for new car dealers, it was taken out of our hides. “Our” meaning those of us down the foodchain from the new car dealers. Auto Auctions, used car dealers, charity vehicle donation car places, new and used auto parts dealers etc. Its unbelievable to me they (politicians) don’t think these things out and solicit comments from industry insiders who know the potential negative effects of stuff like this. I say vote out any and every incumbent!

This is an excellent video. Cash for clunkers is hurting places that specialize in used cars and charities that accept used cars.
cars(dot)gov just recently removed that statement.
